Kaybridge are carrying out the groundworks and infrastructure works for this development by Nu Living/Swan Housing Group of 251 modular homes, forming part of the regeneration of the Craylands estate in Basildon.
Works include: site clearance and enabling works (including construction of a temporary haul road, footpaths, car parking and sales area); Section 38 and Section 278 works, adoptable drainage to a depth of 4 metres; installation of a Sustainable Drainage System, including the installation of Carlow and Weholite storage tanks; strip and piled foundations, incorporating plinths to provide connection points for the modular units; construction of in-situ concrete walls to form carports adjoining the modular units; installation of domestic drainage and services; construction of estate roads to an adoptable standard, and the reconstruction of existing roads on the Craylands estate to bring them to an adoptable standard.
